how can you know someone blocked you or not in kakao talk?

you cannot know someone blocked you. you just send 1:1 talk and after few days you could guess someone had blocked you

i think i found a way via googling. but i’ll have to refer to the menus. can it be in korean or do you need it in english?

anyway the gist of it seems to be you deleting his/her address book entry and all his/her kakaotalk history first, and then see if he/she comes up again when you look for ‘recommended’ friends.

that way if he/she still has you in kakaotalk his/her entry will be automatically re-added, otherwise (if he/she had deleted or blocked you) not.

the complexity lies in how to delete his/her kakaotalk history. it seems to involve several steps in specific orders.

2. lauch kakaotalk and block him/her there

3. and then you just unblock him/her again

4. then a popup will come up asking you if you’ll add him/her as your friend. you must choose ‘cancel’ here. by this his/her kakaotalk history is completely cleared from your account

5. then make sure ‘auto add friends’ option is enabled

6. and finally you tap ‘refresh my friend list’, and see if he/she comes up again

1. I do not have his phone address. just knowing from his i.d
so I just need to do to block him?
2. then I unblock him again.
when I push unblock. they will popup then I chose cancel.
it means if he still in my contact list we still be friends?

i think the last part is the other way atound. since you’ve deleted him already, he’ll be added only if he still has you in his entry
