I wanted to visit Taiwan for the first time in Jan 2020, But the news about the new pandemic were suspicious about that time and I decieded to postpone my travel plan. I didn't expect this to be delayed for more than 2 years.
However, Korea has opened its border to all tourists with VISA and Japan has also (limited to group tourists) started to let the people in. But it seems like I cannot find similar news about Taiwan.
Does Taiwan have a plan to open the border to tourists? If so, when is it expected to happen? If not, what is the major reason to not to open the border?

자세히는 잘 모르겠지만 대만은 7,8월쯤에 국경이 다시 열릴 것 같다고 들었는데요. 지금 아직도 신규 확진자가 많은 편이라서요.
정부가 다른 나라도 확진자가 적어지는 한 1~2달쯤 후에 다시 국경을 여는 거라서 저희도 같은 식으로 약 7,8월쯤에 여는 것 같다는 거예요.

@applejuice201704 답변 감사드립니다. 아직은 공식적인 계획은 없나보군요. 그래도 이번 겨울에는 가능할것 같다는 생각이 드네요. 혹시 대만에 겨울에 가보기 좋은 여행지로 유명한 곳들이 있을까요?
