The "ㄹ" conjugation
In textbooks, they say the reason 팔다->파니까 is because the ㄹ in 팔다 meets the ㄴ in -니까.
But why isn't the ㄹ followed by -으니까 instead of -니까 since ㄹ is a consonant?
If so, the ㄹ would be meeting 으 not ㄴ or ㅂ,ㅅ. Then why is it not 팔으니까?
