@erorikoka29 To reduce the possibility of confusion, could you say, "Jag kommer inte att äta kött" (I won't eat meat) or would that translate more as, "I'm not going to eat meat" ? Tack.

@erorikoka29 Tack så mycket!! So “Jag äter inte kött ”can be translated into these two meanings, right? Then how can I know which one to use?

@Julia418 As I wrote in my first post. It depends on the context. For example, my Auntie and I don't eat ham at all otherwise I eat pig, but she doesn't. But since it's the sentence is the same in Swedish regardless of what you mean it depends on the context.
