İngilizce (ABD) hakkında soru

I have a very difficult question.

Why do you not use "well", "hard" or like that which is particular adverb before verb.

For example,

"You can run well."
"You can well run." not used

"You must study hard"
"You must hard study" maybe not used

I'd like to hear your opinion.
