‎Does it sound nature?
"People usually don't remember what they said, but the others remember what they heard" (I mean, like when someone promises you something, they can forget that promise easily, but you still remember their promise even though time goes)

Sounds great!

I might get rid of “the”. It’s not wrong. But I think it sounds more natural as “People usually don’t remember what they said, but others remember what they heard.”
(Just my preference for smoother flow.)

People usually don't remember what they have said, but others remember what they have heard OR if you want to be specific, people usually don't remember the promises they have made, but others remember what they have heard
