Today,I went out for dinner with my friend who had reached his birthday the other day.He's a student of Nagoya University and we are friends since the days of the junior high students.He was very smart and he always kindly teachs me how to study.I don't have many friends who can talk without hesitation like him.Therefore,he is the friend who is precious for me.From the next year,we will change a place of residence because of finding employment,but I want to get along well with him throughout my life.

I think my sentences don't flow as smoothly and I made some mistakes.
please tell me appropriate expression.

Today, I went out for dinner with my friend whose birthday was just the other day. He's a student at Nagoya University. We were friends since the days of junior high. He is very smart and he always kindly teaches me how to study. I don't have many friends who I can talk to without hesitation like him. Therefore, he is a precious friend to me. Starting from next year, we will change our place of residence because of work but I want to continue to get along with him throughout my life.
