Do you use the Uber app to arrange a ride? If you do - it will describe to you the car that is coming and the name of the driver. It is helpful!
I would say this when they pull up to me:
Are you the Uber driver?
(If they say yes)
Who are you here to pick up?
(If they say your name)
That’s me! Thank you!
- safety tip - I wouldn’t tell them your name, I would ask for them to tell you. And make sure the car matches what the app says it is.

Are you asking because you are going to use an Uber to go places?
If yes, it is almost the same as a Taxi service. You would say the same things to them that you would a Taxi Driver.
