We Japanese people call a hierarchy system among boys/girls in schools of the U.S. as "School caste".
I mean here that this is the system using words like jock, nerd, and queen bee. The explanation of the schools using "School caste" is often used as to watch school related movies.
So I never noticed that this word was actually not coming from English. I was shocked it had been created by Japanese someone.

How do you say if you want to tell this system to others? Is this concept used in English?

(By the way, recently, the term "School caste" is used in Japanese school hierarchy system.)
